Congratulations to Bikesh Sedhain on receiving TSPE Edmundo Gonzalez Scholarship and UTRGV Graduate Select Scholarship, as a great start on his journey of pursuing a M.S. degree in Civil Engineering at UTRGV.

Bikesh’s thesis research is focused on understanding behavior of steel I-girder bridges during construction and improve numerical simulation approaches (e.g. boundary condition representation) to enhance design safety. Bikesh is also a leading force in testing facility preparation in the lab.
